    Product  Description:

     

    A thermocouple consists of two dissimilar metals joined together at one end. When the junction of the two metals be cooled or heated and a voltage is produced that can be correlated back to the temperature.
     

    Thermocouples are used in industry for measuring the temperature of gases, liquids or solid surfaces etc., Its usually assembled with indicators, recorders or computers.


    Information of J type thermocouple

    Type J (iron–constantan) has a more restricted range than type K (−40 to +750 °C), but higher sensitivity of about 55 µV/°C.The Curie point of the iron (770 °C) causes an abrupt change in the characteristic, which determines the upper temperature limit.
