    1. Overview

     

    The Mineral Insulated Heating Cable is a high-density solid body after multiple stretching, made of the metal tube as the outersheath tube, the electric heating alloy wire as the heating element, and the high-purity inorganic oxide as the insulating material.

     

     

    2. Features

     

    Due to its special structure, it has the following characteristics:

    (1) Because its constituents are all composed of non-combustible inorganic substances. Therefore, the product is fireproof and flame-retardant. It does not produce toxic gas, and the cable has a reliable pipe seal and is well grounded, which is especially suitable for various explosion-proof places.

    (2) Since the magnesium oxide insulation material can remain stable when the temperature is as high as 1800 degrees Celsius, the temperature limit of the cable itself is the highest temperature that the core and the metal outer sheath can withstand.

    (3) Since the magnesium oxide insulating layer of the product is an inorganic substance, the core and the outer sheath are made of metal, so the aging problem is fundamentally solved, and the service life of the product is greatly extended. The service life can reach decades.

    (4) Different outer sleeves can be used, which are resistant to corrosion by oils, solvents and most acids, and have good chemical stability.

    (5) The product has good mechanical properties, strong structure, and can withstand twisting, squeezing, bending, pulling, friction, and heavy handling.

    (6) The heating method of the cable is a series resistance electric heating element, so the heating is uniform and the temperature difference over the entire length is extremely small.
