1. Introduction

GME can supply a range of Kapton insulated wires for use at temperatures up to 260°C. Wires are constructed using silver plated copper conductors, insulated with Kapton type-F film, which is subsequently treated for vacuum use.

This wire is very tough, durable double wrap of heat fused polymide tape is applied over each conductor. Each insulated single conductor is coated with an ANSI color coded polymide varnish. The jacket consists of a double wrapped heat fused polymide tape.
